Replace user in page metadata

Christoph Pieper May 28, 2024

I exported a space from an old account and imported it into a new one. I created pages in the old account. As I have another mail address in the the new account, my old "me" is shown as a participer. How can I delete the old user from the metadata?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Christoph Pieper ,

From within Confluence, you can't change the old user.

However before importing, you could change the import files from the old user to the new user.  Changing these files is a bit like programming.

Thanks for the answer! Can I delete the participation from the metadata? As I can delete older Versions of the document?

Yes, it is possible.

However changing the exported files can be complicated.

Ok, as the space is already imported, I assume the is no option to do that, correct?

Correct, after import you can't change it anymore.
