Hi,
We have remove labels from our content in one of our sites, and the Label List is still showing those labels, with the correct site selected.
If We search using the labelText: articles in the same site are still listed on the search.
How to clear labels from a site completely if not used ?
Thank you.
G
Hi @Gregory Machin ,
welcome to the Atlassian community!
There is an open ticket for that issue (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-58953).
Unfortunately there's no workaround for that.

Hi Gregory,
Welcome to the community!
According to the Atlassian documentation:
To completely delete a label from a JIRA instance, the label must be first removed from all the issues in that instance.
Once the label is removed from all issues, it will no longer be seen when browsing a labels. However, the deleted label might still show up on the browser immediately after deleting the label from all issues. Please be aware, it might be caused by index/cache replication eventually will become consistent or browser cache would need to be flushed and reloaded.
Also, I've found the feature request below to improve the way that we can manage/delete labels in Jira:
Last but not least, how do I find which labels are in my projects?
I hope it helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Carlos

thanks for that, will wait and see if this gets resolved. Was a big fan of Atlassian product before the move to the Cloud, not so sure anymore.
