Put carousel in Confluence's header?

shadowrunner May 10, 2018

Basically, the company wants to keep the users informed through Confluence

We would make a carousel of rotating banner pictures that links to confluence pages with various news and happening on the company

They'd want this to be in the header, basically, it would be visible on any pages on confluence, since the users usually just go to their needed project/pages and ignore everything else

Any plug-in that would allow us to do this?

Thanks!

@shadowrunnerWhile demoing other functionality, Handy Macros for Confluence was nice. Their add-on includes a carousel.

There are other vendors as well: I would suggest searching the marketplace, install the various options in UAT, and evaluate.

We already have a carousel, Responsive Carousel works nicely so far

The issue is it being needed to be specifically in the header as to be visible everywhere in confluence. Also it needs to be able to be clicked to send you to a meatier page.

Or well, if there's a workaround to make it show everywhere else

Wouldn't mind a blog post carousel as well; users wouldn't need to vertically scroll.
