Problems exporting Confluence pages to PDF for pages with macros and images

I am using Confluence 5.8.13 and whether I try to export using the ... menu option to export an individual page or go to Browse -> Space Operations -> PDF Export with multiple pages, I get the same results.

Pages with macros and/or images attached do not display correctly when exported to PDF or to Word.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Hi Sandy,

I'm aware of a few issues with exporting pages with images to PDF and Word. Could you show us what you mean when you say it doesn't display correctly? Is the problem with every image on every page, or only certain images?

Lastly, be aware that you're on Confluence 5.8.13 which has been End of Life for some time now. The latest supported version is 5.10 through June. I'm just letting you know about this because it's highly possible you're running into an old bug that has since been resolved. I will be happy to help determine if that's the case.

Thanks for getting back to me. Below are screen shots of the page and the exported page in PDF format. As you can imagine, the first screen shot is the page in Confluence and the second is the same page exported to PDF.

It is not every page. However, the ones that export cleanly are only straight text.

Thank you! Can you tell me what macros are on that first screenshot? I see the one at the top mentioning dashboard owner, and it's not familiar to me.

Can you confirm if you have any PDF customizations in Confluence as well? If you were to make a page in Confluence that only uses the built-in macros with no PDF customization, does the problem persist?

The 2 add ons we use are Comala Workflows and Creately diagrams. The owner is driven by a label used by the Comala add on. The only other macro is the Excerpt macro which you can see in the second screen shot. As I'm sure you also noticed, the links are not displaying correctly either.

I'm not sure what you mean by PDF customizations, but in the space admin I saw nothing in the PDF layout option and from PDF Export Stylesheet, I have pasted our Stylesheet below.
