Hi Atlassian Team,
recently I migrated from Confluence Server to Confluence Cloud. And I have noticed the new editor is lacking some features the legacy editor does support, like nesting tables within panels and sections and columns macro. Can you enable the Legacy editor for all 3 of my confluence cloud instances so I can create new pages using the legacy editor?
Kind regards,
-Lex
Hi @Lex , I would share your feedback with Atlassian thru the in-app feedback link. This was a very hot topic when the change was made over a year ago. IMO, switching back is unlikely and would recommend indicating what features you want as that is more like to gain traction. In fact some of what is desired is likely already recorded at jira.atlassian.com so you might check there and vote for any open requests.
Hi Jack,
thank you for the quick response, will do that. I think I already found 1; CONFCLOUD-68323 and up voted it.
Kind regards,
-Lex

The legacy editor is far better and I keep using. I wish the legacy editor can be set to be the default editor. Atlassian has become like Microsoft enforcing their ways.

Fully agree. Please roll back asp to the legacy editor. And please go back to the base idea of Confluence: An enterprise wiki...
Atlassian should realise that the current state of confluence decreased in the past years. The key value was a lean, fast and an easy to use system.
We see more and more discussions popping up in our company of people that worked day in day out with confluence that they don't like it anymore.
And then Management wins momentum to switch to Sharepoint or one of these other horrible solutions.
