Playing MP4 video on iPad over https

we have a couple of MP4 videos as attachments in confluence, they don't play on iPad (or any iOS devices).

If i donwload the video to the iPad it plays => so it can't be the video format

On any other devices it works => so it can't be the confluence installation as such

Note: our site is accessible via https only.

Anyboy has any ideas how to make this work ?

Hello there mate!

I've found a forum here that says "iDevices" doesn't have an HTML5 player yet. It's actually a forum from a specific audio player but you can find some information and workarounds about the problem you are having.
