I lead a team of psychologists and I would like to know if Confluence meets the safety criteria for personal confidential note-taking (coaching evolving note). 

 

More specifically : are the datas encrypted?

Confluence cloud is HIPAA compliant as mentioned in the article below. 

Also, having Confluence space permissions or restrictions on specific areas to allow only necessary team members to view specific notes.

I believe a combination of these two items could meet your needs for Confluence cloud.

I would suggest avoid use of any PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data in general.
Additionally, you may use permission based Confluence page(s) where only you (or controlled users) have access to these notes.
