Can you share a screenshot?

Have you tried:

  • reloading the page?
  • accessing from a different browser?
  • restarting your computer?

Let us know what steps you have taken to troubleshoot so we can better help.

yes. it seems even the user that have access to post on the page can not click the buttons  it like they are part of the page now, anyway to undo the last update. it seems that one of the owns of the page changed. and i don't know how to undo the change

@Jason Zastrow From your screenshot, it looks like this is the Space Overview page. I checked to see if there are any special permissions related to editing this page (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/assign-space-permissions/), but it appears there aren't.

Since it's the Space Overview, it doesn't have a More Actions menu you can access in the sidebar. You could try temporarily making another page your overview (see https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/set-up-your-space-homepage/). This causes the page to be listed under Content in the sidebar, where you should be able to access the Edit command in the More Actions menu next to the page name.

Let us know if this works to allow your user to edit the page.

@Jason Zastrow Is this only happening on this page? Do the controls work on other pages?

Jason Zastrow August 22, 2024

yes any sub page the controls work is just the main page

@Jason Zastrow Did you try setting another page as your space overview temporarily to see if the controls work on the page when it is not the overview?

Jason Zastrow August 22, 2024

Atlassian support just fixed  it something was overlapping the toolbar preventing you from clicking on the edit link
