Page History comparison timeout

Recently, we seem not to be able to compare versions anymore for mages that have a larger number of revisions or more than just minimal content.

We're moving mountains to get it sorted.

Service is up, Confluence, reacting a bit sluggish, but generally normal. Working in a regulated environment, being able to track changes to pages is essential. 

Anything we can do about it?
