I've reviewed many posts about there about opening links in a new tab and I understand from CONFSERVER-11194 that Atlassian doesn't intend to enhance the product to support this feature.
Can anyone help with a solution to the following?
1. For the JIRA Macro links only, I want a new tab to be opened on click
2. This must be applied to a specific Confluence space, not across all spaces
3. If not something that can be applied holistically to a space, is there a way to use the HTML macro (or alternative) to make the JIRA links, within the JIRA Issues macro on a specific page, open in a new tab?
Also, I've tried the suggestion provided here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Confluence-jira-issue-macro-links-to-open-in-a-new-window/qaq-p/91769
It works for regular links, but not for links contained within the JIRA macro.
Any help from the experts out there will be most appreciated!
