Hello,

One of our users accidentally created a duplicate organization in Atlassian Admin but intended to create a Confluence space. The user is unsure how this happened.

We would like to restrict the creation of organizations to prevent duplicate domains in our organization.

Can you suggest?

Hi @thiagarajan_vasudevan , thanks for your question. It sounds like you need to review the number of users who have org admin permission. Someone who wants to be able to create spaces in Confluence just needs to have Confluence app user permission and then the create spaces permission in the application.

In other words, the best practice is to limit the number of users with org admin permission. If you're not sure how to do this, please feel free to ask for help.

Cheers
