When using a AD group with users with a large number of nested groups.
And trying to see "People who can view this page" only 28 out of the 122 confirmed user are showing.
We know by fact that certain users have big token size headers.
We have set max token size to 32768b
Any sugestions how to solve this?
Huge problem, as we are trying to pursuade a sharepoint heavy company and this is really damaging our reputation :)
Peterdave! bat-lamp is point at you ;)
Hello Septa and thank you for your response.
There are no issues reported when performing the syncronization with user directories, however, JIRA has no problem populating these nested groups. The issue lies within Confluence and managing groups.
My concern is that the Confluence user directories application is the same as in Jira but Jira have another way of managing groups, for example showing the number of members within a group.
Any thoughts?
Best regads,
Hi Martin,
It is definitely abnormal for Confluence not to able to pull the nested group. Although I also believe that this should be discussed with Atlassian support as well.
To troubleshoot the issue, could you please double check if there are any issue occurred during the latest synchronization job?
Could you let me know if there are any nested group that pulled successfully or not? Would it be possible to review your current AD configuration.
regards,
Septa Cahyadiputra
