Migrating table from wiki markup to Confluence in Confluence 5.10.8, table is only imported row by r

Patricia Pozon Aguayo February 1, 2018

Hi all,

Am attempting to migrate a 6x121 table from wiki markup to Confluence markup.

Am adding the table in a format similar to the help doc:

||heading 1||heading 2||heading 3||
|cell A1|cell A2|cell A3|
|cell B1|cell B2|cell B3|

But this remains in pre-formatted format, and is not rendered into the table UI unless I add a carriage return after the row. Because of this, the rows are rendered one-row-at-a-time with a carriage return between them (it looks like an awkward table :) ).

Any ideas how I might migrate the whole markup block at once? (Or does it need to be entered manually?)

Thank you,

Patty

Patricia, it's not clear from your question. Are you migrating the content by cutting and pasting it into the 5.10 instance through the UI, or through upgrading the Confluence instance, or some othe method??
