Merge cells on a table created before the last update of confluence

Hi all

When I try to merge cells on a table, the cell is merged but the height of the cell becomes huge!

I know that with the new version of Confluence, the procedure to create tables has changed, but how can I merge cells on a table already created?

Hi Maria,

Well, the table toolbar was removed indeed, but it is not that you cannot work with some of those functionalities anymore. Even with the old editor, there should be an option to merge the cells:
