We have created a site, let's say: http://filesToLinkConfluence.qc.ca;
Files we want to link within Confluence are put down on this site.
In Confluence we do "Special link" and link http://filesToLinkConfluence.qc.ca/targetFile
The site http://fileToLinkConfluence.qc.ca must not be accessed as is because it contains sensible files. Usually htaccess is used to prevent users to navigate on the site.
Is there a way to configure confluence or apache so that Confluence can access all files http://fileToLinkConfluence.qc.ca (with links) and only Confluence.Thank you
I did not have time to try. You can close the issue.
Hello Johanne
What you can do is to install a Crowd instance to manage your Confluence users and integrate it with Apache:

Hope it helps!
