Linking files to a web site within Confluence: security

We have created a site, let's say:;
Files we want to link within Confluence are put down on this site.
In Confluence we do "Special link" and link

The site must not be accessed as is because it contains sensible files. Usually htaccess is used to prevent users to navigate on the site.

Is there a way to configure confluence or apache so that Confluence can access all files (with links) and only Confluence.Thank you

Hello Johanne

What you can do is to install a Crowd instance to manage your Confluence users and integrate it with Apache:

Hope it helps!

I did not have time to try. You can close the issue.
