Label update and inheritance for child pages

Hi folks, is there a way to apply labels to a page and have its child pages automatically inherit this label? I'm looking at attaching a label to a how-to landing page for an application and its 30+ children and would rather not have to do so for each child page. Cheers!

Hi Kenneth,

You could try our plugin, Bulk Action Tools:

That would allow you to add labels for a page and all its children (among other things).  It's a paid plugin, but you get a free trial, so feel free to use and uninstall, or maybe you'll find it useful and decide to keep it smile

@Kenneth Castillo - See? problem solved.

Thanks Stephen! We'll try this out. : )

Create a template page, then use it.

Good suggestion Radu; we'll actually implement labelled templates moving forward!

Unfortunately the pages I need to adjust (and their child pages) are already existing in our wiki, written in the past few years. Can anything be done to change them all in one go?

mmm. not sure how, other than scripting :)
