While inserting a jira issue macro in Confluence and selecting the view as list, when updating, i get as a result a link/URL to the jira issues instead the list. tried with Chrome and Safari.
Is this a bug?

Hi @Nektarios Aravopoulos

Welcome to the community! I tested the above (on chrome) on my site and I can't seem to reproduce it.  Does it happen when you update the page or the issues in the macro?  If the problem persist I think you should reach out to the Atlassian support.

best regards

Lisa

@Lisa Forstberg

thanks for your fast reply. I am using sections in confluence and thats the root cause. So many macros fail, not only this one. In edit mode all macros work perfectly and then after saving, the results are whatever, or nothing. In the jira issue macro, i get the url.

please note that we just migrated from on premise to cloud, where it used to work fine. I consider this missing functionality and now i have to rework on loads of pages as using sections was a common practice.

Ouch! I see, it might be worth reporting of the problems. Atlassian wants to make the journey to cloud as smooth as possible.

all the best
