We use the database as a glossary. We had thought that if we then search for something or have a term defined, the database would also be queried. Unfortunately this is not the case. Is there a way to adjust this or does anyone else have a tip for creating a glossary that is as appealing as possible?
Hello @Julia Pfau
Hope this is not a very late answer.
Atlassian announced its intent to provide support for native search but until now (after doing some tests) it's not yet supported. (Premium plan)
That's one of the downsides of Atlassian Database and this is where the power of Atlassian Apps come. Did you thought about using a Glossary App to list your terms?
We do offer an App called Glossary for Confluence
You will have support for adding terms and also highlights your terms in your confluence pages via a simple click. We would recommand giving it a try :)
I will be also pleased in helping you with desiging your Glossary either via our App of via Confluence native feature. With a +10years experience with customers and glossary management I've seen mulitple configuration and setting!
Many thanks
