Is there a way to give a group full admin access to all confluence spaces?

Hi all,

Basically we have a user who we want to give confluence admin to our entire confluence domain. Our typical default schema has an admin group that is added across our domain, including our jira / service management spaces.

This new group is exclusively for admin access on confluence only, however is there a way to have this group get added with admin permissions to existing spaces on confluence?

As of now this group is having to ask me to add that group to each space they need, which seems counterproductive/defeats the purpose of giving a group "admin" permissions in the first place, as even though I gave the group confluence admin, i still need to add that group individually to every space.

Am i missing something or is that actually what we need to do?

Hi @Brandon Santa Elena

You may consider giving "Product admin" access to this user (only Confluence), you can then check the global settings to make sure this group has default space admin access:
