Is it possible to "convert" Confluence table to a table with column sorting?

Using wiki markup I know I can create a table with coumn sorting using the table-plus macro. But what if I have an already created table in Confluence 4+, can I somehow get column sorting into it, or do I have to rewrite the whole table in a table-plus macro?

Copy/cut/paste the table into the body of the table-plus macro. If it is a Confluence 4.x native table (no wiki) then you need to have Table Plugin for Confluence version 5.0 or later which has a native Confluence 4.x table-plus macro.
