Is it possible to create variables to be used by more than one template?

I'd like to create variables that could be used by more than one template.

When it comes to variables, currently, it’s not possible to create global ones to use on different templates.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

Thanks Angelica, but seeing that this ticket has been created 16 years ago and hasn't been solved yet, I'm not holing my hopes high.
