Is it possible to create an issue directly from a selected text in a database cell like in tables?

I would like to use a database temporarily for testing issues and then transferring some of the issues to the Jira backlog when not fixed immediately.

In tables this is possible through selecting text in a cell and choosing create issue from the context menu. But tables are not that nice for sorting and filtering issues.

It would be really nice to be able to do this in database cells as well. Maybe only for a text type cell. But maybe it could be nice for other cells as well. Or just add a whole row into a Jira issue with a special option.

@Frank Spee Welcome to the Atlassian community

This database feature does not currently have the ability to do that.  You could submit a feature request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=10440

Thank you for your welcome and quick response. I will check if there is already an issue and create one if not.
