Hi All,
I am working on the Confluence cloud. I have created the Group into Azure AD and sync in Atlassian. Now I am trying to add that group into product access in
but I did not get any API. If anyone have any idea, please help me on the same.
Sorry @d.b.kumar.chauhan but there’s no such API available.
Hi @Kieren _SmolSoftware_ Could you suggest an alternative approach to add the External Synced AD group into atlassian admin site product access?
Actually,we do manage all users in Active Directories group we are expecting those users to be appear and searchable in confluence space to grant the permissions,
Is there any Atlassian API level classes to perform this action?

There are a few APIs you can use to add users to groups, this would give the most control over group/product access. https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/admin/organization/add-user-to-group/
Another option would be to use an app like Admin Automations, that does all that for you.
Generally what I’ve found easiest to keep track of, if your goal is to close off different projects/spaces to different users, is only having a handful of groups that can grant product access, and using different groups to grant project/space access. This gives enough flexibility to meet most security needs but doesn’t make administration too hard.
Hope that’s useful!
