In Phoenix, how does the YTD Adjustment Detail work?

I entered a Prior Period Adjustment for an advance payroll as a deduction for hauling, I entered the YTD Adjustment as Base Hauling as the client wanted this to net out at Settlement.  

SMI client informed me that Producer 121 was charged again on the March Settlement, 35,404.11.

Would you explain how does the YTD category works?

I apologize I'm not certain how to answer that it's related to a payroll instance in Phoenix.
