Importing Existing Word Documents - how do I get the header/footer section to import?

Lawrence Tabachnick August 10, 2012

I have a bunch of pre-existing Word documents from our Quality (ISO) team. When I try to import them to confluence pages, the header and footer sections disappear

Hello Lawrence,

This is actually an improvement request that is being tracked in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-16194.

After reserching further, it seems that the reason for this is because Confluence doesn't support footer text in its wiki pages. That being said, you can vote on the above improvement request in order to increase its popularity.

I checked this request and it looks like is has not been looked at in 3 years...Any chance of it being revived?
