Import users from AD group to Confluence local Group

Deleted user April 12, 2018

Hi,

Yesterday I configured in confluence to import all the users from specific AD group.

After I  did this I noticed that the users don't added automatically to Confluence-users(Local Group).

There is way to do this automatically without configure read&write in LDAP setting?

(this fieldis already configured like that "Default Group Memberships:confluence-users" )

Thanks in advance,

You may use the option, "read-only with local groups" to avoid enabling write access to LDAP while still using local confluence groups to assign permissions, just edit the LDAP directory as shown:

Please note that the synchronization with LDAP does not add the users to the Default Group, rather they are added when they log in for the first time. Also, if you remove a user from the Default Group and they log in again they will not be re-added to the group.
