Images not shown in Edge but are ok in Chrome

An image I inserted and which displays as expected in Chrome is not being displayed at all in Edge, instead a grey box the size of the image with a grey file icon within it is shown.

I have cleared the cache in Edge.
No add ons are being used.

Is this a known issue?

As I understand, Microsoft Edge is not displaying images as it is supposed to.

 According to our documentation, the supported version of Microsoft Edge for our Cloud platform is the latest stable version released by Microsoft. You can check this here:

If we look at Microsoft’s Stable release Channel for Edge, we see that the current version 87.0.664.55:

With this in mind, I have these questions:

1. Are you using the current version of Microsoft Edge?
2. Is this happening in all pages that contain images?
3. Is there any error message on screen?
4. Is this affecting anyone else that you know of?

Hello Diego,
Thank you for your response.
My answers are as follows:

1. No but I hadn't realised. I have raised a ticket for the IT department to ensure my laptop has the latest version of Windows.
   So, hopefully this will fix the issue.
2. This was a new space for me so I only had one image.
   I did see it occur with an image in another team's space.
3. There was no error message on the screen.
4. I'm not sure. I did ask someone else in the company about this and they did not say they could see the image.

My company has upgraded Windows for me today, and lo and behold the image issue has been resolved.
Thanks you very much for your useful suggestion, which turned out to be the solution.
