I need help setting up my first Confluence Space.

This feels like the silliest question but I think I've been staring at the screen too long. I can't seem to find "Create Space" to start making a space in confluence.

This is for a brand new project that doesn't have a space in Jira yet.

You can click on 'Spaces' from the sidebar and then choose 'Create Space' button at the top right-hand corner.

If you don't see sidebar, press [ on your keyboard once to that it'll expand.

Thank you! Does the project need to be entered in Jira or somewhere else before I can create it in Confluence?

I don't have an option for "create space" in the upper right.....I only see "filter"
