I'm unable to edit or delete "markers" in the Roadmap Planner macro. Can anyone help?

Molly Earle January 10, 2019

For the past several weeks, I have been unable to edit or delete the "markers" in Roadmap Planner. Has anyone else experienced this, and been able to solve it?

FYI, for me, the trash icon is not showing but it is there to click and deletes the marker.

Hello there Molly!
There is a chance that we are being affected by the bug described here:

Roadmap Planner bars not responsive on the first load - CONFCLOUD-65229

We can go ahead and try the following:

  1. Access the affected page
  2. Enter edit mode
  3. After the editor loads, reload the page
  4. Select the Roadmap Macro and click to edit
  5. Try changing the desired settings

The bug here describes that the macro is not responsive after the first editor page load. However, after reloading the page Roadmap Macro works as expected.

Let us know if this helps you out!

This does not solve it for me - I am able to edit bars and swimlanes, but unable to delete "Markers".

Hello community, on 21 March 2024, the bin is still not labelled, but if you click on it, the deletion process is successfully completed.Screenshot 2024-03-21 at 10.27.08.png

On Cloud Confluence as of Oct 2022 this seems to be working okay

In case anyone else gets stuck on this, you need to click on the text label for the marker (e.g., 'Renamed' in Russel's screenshot above).  Clicking on the line itself will not bring up the edit/delete context menu.
