I'm having trouble accessing the Confluence space that was shared to me by my team's administrator

When I click the link to the space, I'm getting "You stumbled on a restricted space". The team admin had shared this space with me. Any ideas?2022-09-08 05_00_00-https___eteam.atlassian.net_wiki_spaces_~5570589249eff82a264dd4a1f4d821e5186eb3_.png

Thanks for the responses. I found the problem. It's because both the admin and I have Product Admin permissions to Confluence. Once I switch the permissions on my account to User, it worked fine.2022-09-08 08_45_03-Administration.png

Hi @gabe360 ,

Welcome to the community !!

Sharing the page doesn't grant the required access.
First you or the group you belong should be added to the space permissions lists.
Then page owners need to grant you the view/Edit permissions for the page required or the parent page of it.

Hi @gabe360 ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

Please ask to confluence Admin or Space Admin to grant you correct permission to access that space. Sharing a space doesn't provide you the grant to view content inside.

Hope this helps,

Fabio
