I created a page in Confluence.  How do I add an add-on that allows you to select to drag/drop an attachment so it stories on Confluence?

Hi @Matt Neufeld Welcome to the community!

Please edit your page and add the attachment macro on your page.

  1. Switch to editing mode
  2. Select Insert > Other Macros from the editor toolbar
  3. Select Attachments from the Confluence content category
  4. Set any optional parameters
  5. Select Insert

Hi @Matt Neufeld

You can drag and drop an attachment in a Confluence page when you are in edit mode or if you go on the attachment view(shortcut 't' or  click on .../Attachments/files).

From a page in view mode you can use the macro {attachment} and insure you the box "allow upload" is ticked. Then you will have a specific box area in which users can drag and drop an attachement while they are reading the page. But of course they need to have the right to add files in this space.
