How to switch from Crowded Active Directory to Interner Active Directory?

Dear All,

Now my confluence server having a configuration for Directory Server as below

1. Using general LDAP server of my company to sychronize all AD users 

2. Using JIra software server as crowed Directory Server ==> I can create/edit new local user, 

==> Now I would like to turn off Jira Crowed Directory server to enable edit internal active directory at point 2 and keep configuration at point 1. How should I do for this case?

Hi @itc123456789 and welcome,

first of all my suggestion is to check confluence administartor group in order to verify that it is a local group/AD group and it contains confluence internal user or users coming from AD. This to avoid to lost administrators on confluence.

Secondly, please check groups coming from JIRA that you need to maintain on confluence. Please remeber to create this group locally like users.

After doing that, disable jira directory.

My suggestion, try it first in a preprod environment.
