How to show Σ Progress in Jira Issues Macro?

julio verano November 19, 2012

After looking at documentation about Jira issues macro for Confluence here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/JIRA+Issues+Macro

and related documentation on xml export in Jira here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Displaying+Search+Results+in+XML

I did not find a way to display "Σ Progress" as a column in the Jira Issues Macro.

Is this even possible? if so, please advise. If not, is it due to Jira issues xml export not including this info? That way I can enter the feature request at jira.atlassian.com with the appropraite info.

Thanks!

I'm assuming "Σ Progress" is coming from our time tracking data in JIRA? Is that accurate?

Would the 'aggregatetimespent' field work for this? It's listed in the Displaying Search Results in XML doc above as the following:

(ie. aggregate time for the issue plus all of its sub-tasks.) Only available if your administrator has enabled 'time-tracking'.

It doesn't look like "Σ Progress" is in the XML view of the issue so that could be at the heart of why it would not be supported as a column in the Confluence Jira issue macro (this may be worthy of a new feature request).

However, both "aggregatetimespent" and "timespent" could provide some of that detail in regards to progress that we need, thanks for that suggestion!
