I'd love to keep updated on our confluence pages updates but I'm not keen to be updated whenever someone updates a page.
Receiving a digest or even a single "Joe updated this page" message at the beginning/end of each day/week is good enough for me.
How can I accomplish that, please?
Hi Gelbana,
Thank you for your question! There's a feature request in the Slack integration where there should not be a notification when notify watchers is off. If we implement this feature request, it will solve your problem:
API-290 Disable Slack notification for updates on pages when the notify watchers flag is turned off
In that case, you would only get a Slack notification when you would get one from Confluence naturally. Please share your thoughts!
Take care,
Shannon
Hi Gelbana,
I agree, and I see you were able to log the feature request yesterday! I'll share it below so other customers can vote on it if they're interested:
API-445 Support "digest" mode for updated pages.
Thanks again for submitting the feature request.
Take care,
Shannon

Feels like the best answer here is:
1. Shut off the Slack integration, because it's way overnoisy.
2. Activate email notifications instead.
3. Set up a Slack Email integration that forwards emails to a dedicated channel, and point it at wherever you'd want your Confluence notifications to go in Slack.
4. Set up auto-forwarding in your email client to reroute emails from Confluence to the custom Slack email you established.
Sad, but works.
