How to protect viewing data from one administrator to another administrator

Gerard Vangaever October 24, 2019

We want to use two site administrator in our organization so they can interact with each other. They must be able to administer the site settings but certain information inside spaces must only be view able and editable by one administrator. The other administrator can't access that information.

Is this possible in one site?

How can we do that?

Who to prevent one administrator from logging in with the account of the other administrator?

Thank You very much !

Best Regards

@Gerard Vangaever ,  this is a difficult question to advise on.

You can set Space or Page Restrictions to prevent viewing, editing by anyone other than those specifically allowed, but if this is done incorrectly, or if the administrator who has permissions leaves, you could have problems. Also, if any groups have permissions, there's nothing to stop the other administrator from adding themselves to the group.

There may be alternatives, but I am not aware of them.

Hi Darryl,

Thank you for our reply on my question!

Don't know if it is even possible!
