How to paste tab-delimited text into confluence table

Hey, Atlassian. Some of us generate large amounts of text (such as in tab-delimeted formate programmatically.

Why is it that we STILL cannot easily import this into a page's table?

@Matt Brauer If you have a tab delimited file you could easily convert it to Wiki Markup https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-confluence-wiki-markup/#Tables and then add the content that way.  Confluence has markup but it is not tab-delimited.

I should mention that the new Confluence editor supports mediawiki style tables now, see format below.
