How to import Word doc with screenshots?

We have quite a bit of documentation in word docs with screenshots. I tried the import word doc feature to bring them into confluence but it dropped the screenshots.

Has anyone figured out a way to import these while retaining the screenshots?

Wich version of Confluence are you using? There is a bug about this, CONF-25477, but it is fixed for Confluence 4.2.13. This should be fixed if you upgrade to this version (or a later one).

I'm using 4.2.11. I'll upgrade and see if that clears it up.
