How to get Confluence Cloud relevant article based on key words via API

Eva Gil September 16, 2022

Hello everyone!

Based on the Confluence Cloud REST API documentation we understand that there is an option to get the relevant articles from our Confluence knowledge base via API using https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/api-group-content/#api-wiki-rest-api-content-get

We have seen in other conversations that Confluence Cloud indexing is disabled (e.g.https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Why-is-cloud-confluence-indexing-disabled/qaq-p/337558) and we wanted to check if this would impact our ability to get the right content via API?

Many thanks in advance!

Eva.

Hi @Eva Gil and welcome to the community,

In my opinion, you wouldn't have any problem with that. But why don't put that to the test? Why you don't use that API to send a request, then create any other page and run it again?

Many thanks Alex! We will check and report back!
