How to ensure the jira macro displays when creating multiple issues from a table in confluence?

When I create a single jira issue from a table in confluence, the jira macro displays as per below screenshot:

The same behaviour does not occur when using the "Create multiple Jira Issues" feature.  The issues are successfully created in Jira however, the corresponding single jira issue macro does not append in confluence.  Please advise.

Hello Francesca,

Thank you for bringing this to us. I've looked into it, and there's a current bug:

  • CONFCLOUD-35077 No JIRA issue link will be created in Confluence page when creating multiple JIRA issue from pages.

The workaround is either to:

  1. Manually add the issues to the table.
  2. Use the Old Editor, if this is still an option on your Confluence instance. Note that some instances have already been completely migrated to the New Editor thus this may not be possible for your instance.

I hope that's clear but do let me know if you have any trouble or questions.

Regards,

Shannon
