is there an opportunitity to disable the e-mail notification for a defined time span, need to actualize a couple of pages and don't want my collegues who been mentioned on this site, to receive all the e-mails with the changing on this sites.

Yes, all notification will be disabled in Confluence on global level, until you re-enable the setting.

@Fabian Sieg You could do a small test and see whether publishing changes using the Update without notifying watchers command on the More Actions menu results in a notification to someone mentioned on the page or not.
I would think they would only get a notification if your changes include a new mention, but, as I say, you could test it out to see.

I see your point but this option, doesn't exist in Cloud.
You can select the arrow next to update and then uncheck the box "notify users by email", but this has to be done every time for each time you edit the page and want to update.
Disabling global mail will be quicker. @Fabian Sieg notify your user base on this temporary action.

@Marc - Devoteam I only use Cloud and use this option all the time to see my page updates without others needing to know every time.
No need to open the update dialog and clear the checkbox.

Hi Barbara, this option would work i thin for the watchers of the page, but not for the people who's been mentioned inside the page.
