We are using the basic version of confluence and I would like to set up an external knowledge base for our customers. For now it seems like there is no nice looking way (getting rid of useless buttons and style in CI). Does anyone have any insights for me?
Thx and take care
Hi @Stephanie Symjn-Bors welcome to the community. Might I suggest getting the Free license of JSM? Then you can get a Portal with a GUI that can look nice for your customers and then integrate it with your Confluence space to work as a Knowledge Base.
And if you actually want a Help Center for your customers, you already have a setup to provide that. Your customers don't pay for any JIRA licenses either. Here's a Knowledge Base article on how that would work.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that seems like an easy way to get what you're looking for.
Hi Dan, thx for taking the time to answer. I did not quite understand what you mean. I cant find a free app called JSM. I assume JSM stands for Jira Service Management. I read the article but I still cant see how I would be able to customize the look and feel of a confluence space. Also I dont know what a GUI is :-P
