I'm using Karma as a page page builder
I can't work out how to add an anchor to jump to other sections of the page.
Hi Carine,
Linking to anchors within any third-party macro is not possible due to design restrictions from Atlassian's side.
You could use a workaround by splitting your Karma page into multiple macros, each containing a section. Place regular Confluence anchors between these sections and link to the anchor macros between the sections.
I hope this helps!
Philip
Hey thanks for the workaround idea!
I created the anchor between 2 macros but when I'm in Karma, there's no way to find that anchor.
Could you provide a little more help?

Hey @Heather Palmer ,
Sure! Simply use the "Direct Link" tab and paste the full link to the page. Then, append a # and the name name of the anchor afterwards.
For example:
- If your page is https://your-confluence.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/overview
- And your anchor's name is "my-anchor"
- The link you'll have to put there is https://your-confluence.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/overview#my-anchor
If the anchor is on the same page, make sure to deselect "open link in a new tab", so that you stay in the same tab when clicking the link.
Best,
Philip
