I'm to change what content comes into a freshly created homepage.
For Example: I hit create space. Select one of the 3 options and create space.
When I click on the Title page of the space their is default content descriptions and report suggestions.
I want to change that content by default so as my team members create new customer pages they don't have to recreate our themes.
Templates don't seem to work in the space, and copy/pasting all and back on the page causes some weird emoji/text character problems.
There has to be a way to create a Template for an entire space with folders and placeholder pages in here for repetitively similar spaces.
Have you taken a look at Blueprints? They offer more options than templates.

I did take a look at blueprints from the user's perspective. I'm not a coder unfortunately so the developer documentation is a bit over my ambition to get set up.
We are a software company using Confluence as a database and housing the same customer repetitious information. So looking to automate a new customer space creation for our team, so would think I could make a template of what I want and then have it post with a variable name for the title and duplicate folder names to ensure we don't have a duplicate folder name issue.

Hi @Jon Ripperdan,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
The default page is based on a blueprint that is based on the template you selected for your space. You can modify these blueprints if you go to Settings > Global templates and blueprints. You can read more about it in this KB.

I tried that actually. What I found is that when I add a Global Template, It allows me to create a page and use the template.
However what I'm trying to do is when a New Space is created the default home page area of that space that is not tied to a page created.
I would of thought it was something like this given it's name and that was not correct either.
I thought Blueprints would be what I really wanted so I could also add premade folders to each Space, but I don't see how you can make a start to finish one? It also only shows maybe what could be a homepage, but doesn't specify and doesn't show the rest of the space to customize the folder content section.
