How to avoid email blast with mass page creation

I'm creating a lot of pages, is there a way for me to not email blast all watchers or is that only possible to control after a page as been created?

as you create the pages, either set the page to Page View Restriction to just yourself.  Wait a while before you remove the Restriction, then the Watchers will only get the daily update summary

Or create one Restricted View page for yourself and create all the new pages under that.  Later Move the pages where you want

.... But as I often say to our Users, remember that as a Knowledge Management System, knowledge is only knowledge when people know when new knowledge is created or edited!!
