How to adjust sending notifications to others when I add an event to a calendar they watch?

melanie_boehmer January 21, 2025

Every time I add an event to the calendar in my shared Confluence space, everyone watching the calendar receives a notification. However, due to the nature of my job, these dates can change several times throughout the day meaning my team receives updates multiple times. Can I decide to bundle the notifications for others to once a day rather than every time a change happens?

Hi @melanie_boehmer

Based on the documentation given by Atlassian, the behavior you are mentioning is not feasible :(

Maybe you should you a "draft" calendar in which you put all your events, and once they are validated, you put it on the official one.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try if that works for me. I was already afraid that what I was trying to do might not be possible.
