Hello,
Currently with the built-in status macro, users have to set the status and choose the color. I'd like to be able to have a macro that have specific dropdowns available for the team (ex. insert macro -> choose from complete/in-progress/blocked/etc. with the appropriate color then if the status changes they can click the button and change the dropdown.
Tried looking around, as well as on this page
Status Macro | Confluence Data Center 9.1 | Atlassian Documentation
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks,
Tom
@Tom Cheung If you are trying to add a status from a list to the page as a whole, you can define the list of statuses in Space Settings > Manage space > Content statuses.
The page you referenced is for Data Center, but your tags indicate you use Cloud. See this page for more info: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/add-a-status-to-your-page-or-blog/
If you want people to be able to insert a status in random places on the page, then, as @YY Brother mentioned, there is no way to do this with native Confluence features. There may be a 3rd-party app that meets your needs available in the Atlassian Marketplace.

Hi @Tom Cheung ,
I think that our Handy Macros for Confluence app might be useful for you.
With our app, you can insert a status from multiple customizable status sets. You can choose the name, background and text color. Once inserted in your page, you can change it with one click from the dropdown menu, right in the view mode.
You can try it on the Atlassian Marketplace for free, to see if it is the right fit for your team.
You are welcome to book a quick demo as well!
Best regards,
Dmitriy

HI @Tom Cheung
Welcome to our Community.
It's not supported with the native Confluence features to implement your requirement. You may need to develop App or try search the marketplace to find it out.
