How to add an additional language in Code Macro

Alexa Aufdermauer November 28, 2016

I am not able to add a language because I simply don't have the link 'Add additional language. I have system administrator rights so I should actually have the rights to do so.

You could try and install the Better Code Block macro for Confluence Cloud that I wrote. It supports many more languages: https://cloud-code-macro.atlassian.io/docs/home

Hi Alexa,

This is not possible in Cloud (without using a custom add-on like that suggested by @Robert Massaioli in the other answer).

Comparing the cloud documentation at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/code-block-macro-724765175.html

...with the server documentation at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/code-block-macro-139390.html

Only the server documentation has the "To add an additional language" section.

I suspect this is because adding an additional language involves JavaScript, and Macros involving this have restricted functionality in Cloud instances: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/restricted-functions-in-confluence-cloud-734070955.html
