I am developing a macro plugin that contains html input elements. I want to take the input from those elements and populate an EmailQueueItem and then send it to a predetermined address using the Confluence SMTP server. I am open to any suggestions if there is a better way to perform this operation. The input being requested from the users will be simple strings like Name, Email, etc...
I understand there is other plugins offered through the Atlassian marketplace that could help provide this service, but that is not an option for me right now.
