I can't find cloud documentation on the star icon at the top of a page.
When I click on it, I don't see any "favorites dashboard" anywhere, as indicated by old versions of help.

The star icon refers to Save for later. You should be able to access this from the Confluence sidebar by selecting Your work and then Save for later. Alternatively you can select your profile picture and then Save for later.
