We have a lot of data in Excerpt Macros that we are then combining into more useful pages via the Excerpt Include macro. Unfortunately when we do a search all we are getting are the pages with the Excerpt macros, not the ones that included the excerpted content.
We are using Confluence Cloud if that makes a difference.
Thanks
Jennifer
Unfortunately there is no way to do this.
Currently there is an open ticket:
Thank you for the answer.
Sadly this is not the answer I was looking for.
Right now I am wondering if it would be possible to create such a search as a plugin to the server version of Confluence.
Thanks
Jennifer
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
In the comments of that issue there's a workaround. You'll need to buy a plugin but it seems like it has worked for some:

Thanks, if I can talk management into the server version of Confluence that looks like it is the tool to fix our search problem.
